FIS Freeski World Cup Stubai – slopestyle season opener, 19–22 November 2025
At the season-opening Freeski World Cup on the Stubai Glacier, the weather acted as a cooperative program director. The decision to move the women’s qualification into Thursday afternoon’s sunny window proved ideal: in stable conditions, the world’s top slopestyle riders delivered performances that set the tone for an exciting final on Saturday.
Women’s Qualification: Gremaud, Asselin and Karava Lead the Field
The world’s best women made excellent use of the rescheduled qualification round:
Mathilde Gremaud (SUI) – Olympic Slopestyle Champion and Stubai winner in 2023 – set the day’s highest score with a technically outstanding first run (81.92). She was followed by Olivia Asselin (CAN) with 76.71 points and Anni Karava (FIN) with 68.07.
They will be joined in Saturday’s final by:

- Lara Wolf (AUT)
- Grace Henderson (USA)
- Kokone Kondo (JPN)
- Marin Hamill (USA)
Men’s Qualification on Friday
The men’s qualification remains scheduled for Friday as originally planned. With world-class athletes in peak form, a technically demanding course and the first World Cup event of the new season, Saturday’s final on 22 November promises a spectacular Freeski showdown. The best eight women and top 16 men will battle for the first Slopestyle title of the 2025/26 Olympic winter, starting 11:15 (World Feed).
