Inselberg is hosting an Auckland pop-up store in Britomart, from July 9-13, showcasing its collection of technical outerwear designed for alpine missions in New Zealand and beyond.
The space will include live demonstrations of the technical tests used to ensure Inselberg’s gear meets the highest standards of durability.
“We’ve created an in-store lab to test the jacket against the elements including a shower to demonstrate our waterproofing in action,” said Inselberg Founder Jarlath Anderson.
“There’ll also be a machine which shows how much water pressure our fabrics can withstand, and an air permeability unit to highlight breathability.”
“We’ve even created a hands-on durability test, where visitors can use a drill to see just how tough our materials really are. We’ve designed gear that’s ready for the world’s toughest environments and we want our customers to understand what that takes.”
The Inselberg pop up store will be open from 10am-6pm at 10 Te Ara Tahuhu, Britomart.
