This morning at 10am, Pure Tūroa launched its Season Pass sales.
The team was absolutely delighted that everything went to plan smoothly, with customers
wide and far complementing the process, happy to secure their Season Passes. Jason
Beaudry commented, “I got mine, I cannot wait to hit the mountain. If the website is any
indication, Pure Tūroa is a smooth operation.”
The Pure Tūroa team gathered together to watch the sales come in live on a big-screen. By
10.10am, 1,000 people had already picked up their Season Passes, and by 10.13am sales
had reached the one million dollar mark. Cameron Robertson and Greg Hickman, the
directors of Pure Tūroa Ltd, celebrated the milestone with their team . “We are incredibly
thankful for the support. We’re relieved to finally be here and it’s surreal to watch the number
of visitors to the website tick up on the screen. We’ve just had someone from Texas through
the checkout! The support is fantastic, thank you.” says Reobertson.
Pure Tūroa released its Season Passes with a special Launch Price offer of $649 for adults
and $333 for youth and seniors. Only 1,500 Launch Price units were available but in an act
of goodwill, the team ran this price until 1pm when over 2,000 had sold. Season Passes are
now available at $799 for adults and $349 for Youth and Seniors. Only 2,500 are available at
this price. Platinum Parking passes are also proving popular with over half sold before
midday.
Maintenance Manager, Gareth ‘Gaz’ Bradnam says that “The modernisation of Parklane and
The Movenpick are on track. Movenpick spun for the first time in 6 months this morning, it
was smooth and very exciting for the team to see.” Hickman followed, “The Giant, Highnoon
Express, the Movenpick, Quad and Parklane are on track to operate come season start.
We’re also excited to launch a new initiative for Season Pass holders, ‘Bring-a-Buddy
Wednesdays’, where they can bring a mate to ski with them for free. We’re excited to
welcome everyone, and some snow, in the coming months.”
All Season Passes purchased before 15 May will also benefit with the inclusion of two ‘day
passes’ for use at Whakapapa in 2024. See a full list or products available at
