Two-Days of Thrilling Freeride Meets Freestyle Snowboarding to Broadcast Live on Red Bull TV; Exciting Evolutions to the Tour’s First Stage of Competition Announcing this Fall

Revelstoke, BC (October 1, 2025)—The Natural Selection Tour is back in 2026 with two full days of progressive backcountry-based freestyle snowboarding and a fresh twist on how riders earn their way to the main stage. The Snow Tour’s flagship event, YETI Natural Selection Revelstoke, will return to British Columbia from March 10–16, 2026, with both competition days broadcast live exclusively on Red Bull TV. Here, 24 top snowboarders from film icons to slopestyle and pipe medalists will drop into a massive natural and naturally-enhanced zone with one man and one woman being crowned Tour champions at the close of the second day.

A crew led by Revelstoke local and pro snowboarder Dustin Craven is knee-deep in Montana Bowl working to expand and refine the venue located just outside the boundary of Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Designed to jumpstart rider creativity, the massive venue with death-defying cliff bands, boulders, platforms, and tree features will once again serve as the canvas as the world’s most skilled snowboarders showcase their style, flow, and technical precision for the world.

“Last year, with a bit more venue refinement and an expansion, we started to unlock the full potential of the Selector Venue at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Now that riders have been able to wrap their heads around this megalithic venue, this winter, we expect the unexpected,” said Travis Rice, pro snowboarder and co-founder of the Natural Selection Tour.

The new first stage format—replacing the Tour’s previous DUELS matchups—will debut ahead of Revelstoke, offering broader global access and expanded storytelling opportunities for both athletes and fans.

A total of 24 riders will compete at Revelstoke. Twelve riders will receive automatic invites based on their performances in the 2025 Tour, with the remaining 12 being filled through the Tour’s first stage of competition and wildcards. Wildcards will in part be made up of riders who had to decline invites in previous seasons for  injuries or other conflicts in their schedule.

The 12 riders who made it to the final day of competition last season, automatically have their tickets punched back to Revelstoke. On the women’s side, Madison Blackley (USA), Šárka Pančochová (CZE), Elena Hight (USA), and 2025 Natural Selection Tour Champion Spencer O’Brien (CAN) are invited  back. The men’s pre-qualified roster includes Mikey Ciccarelli (CAN), Torgeir Bergrem (NOR), Nils Mindnich (USA), Dustin Craven (CAN), Ståle Sandbech (NOR), Gigi Rüf (AUT), Jared Elston (USA), and Blake Moller (USA). This first half of the list alone represents an incredibly diverse slice of snowboarding style and skillsets.

Within the March 10–16 competition window, the two optimal days will be selected based on snow and weather conditions. Day One will feature all 24 riders, with the top 12 advancing to Day Two’s finals, where the 2026 Natural Selection Tour champions—one man and one woman—will be crowned, live on Red Bull TV.

Celebrated for its legendary snowfall and naturally complex terrain, Revelstoke remains an ideal home for the Natural Selection Tour. The community will again be invited to witness all of the action from the base of the venue accessed from Revelstoke Mountain Resort. So book travel now! The event will also showcase the vibrant spirit of Revelstoke, with support from the Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing, Government of British Columbia Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, and Tourism Revelstoke.

“We are proud to be supported by the local Revelstoke community, and with the expertise of the RMR operations and safety teams,” continued Rice. “This Supernatural stadium, with live viewing on the mountain and at home, is unlike anything else I have ever been a part of. It will be an incredible week to be in our home North of the border!”
